Traineeship at the Farm 2024: Welcoming Blaine 🇿🇦 and Marc 🇩🇪
Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming two enthusiastic trainees to our farm—Blaine from South Africa and Marc from Germany. They joined us for a two-week traineeship, and it’s been an exciting journey so far, both for them and for us!
Our Participation at the Kanepi Festival
We're excited to announce our participation in the upcoming Kanepi Festival, held on July 19-20, 2024, in Kanepi, Estonia. This festival celebrates the many uses and benefits of industrial hemp, featuring a variety of events including a hemp conference, workshops, and cultural performances.
Our Contributions:
Experience Story (13:50): We will share the story of Obelisk Farm, highlighting our mission and vision of fostering environmental sustainability, social well-being, and economic growth through hemp farming, product creation, visitor engagement, and event hosting.
Workshop: Hemp Paper (15:00): Join us as we demonstrate how to transform hemp fibers into unique handmade hemp paper. This hands-on workshop will provide insight into the traditional craft and its modern applications.

First Place in the "Canapa è" Hemp Seed Oil International Competition
We are ecstatic to share the incredible news that we have won first place in the VII Edition of the International Competition for the Best Hemp Seed Oil, "Canapa è"—the only competition of its kind in Europe! This monumental achievement is a testament to our dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to producing the highest quality hemp seed oil.
